Buffalo’s very own hip-hop / jazz group “Type Relevant” and award-winning Canadian jazz Trumpeter “Brownman” – featured soloist for Guru’s Jazzmatazz & Mos Def).

For this special evening, Type Relevant will take the stage as Brownman’s backing band, performing Brownman’s explosive jazz arrangements and engaging in deep funk-filled improv sessions. Then it’s TR’s turn, as Brownman repays the favor, backing Type Relevant as they showcase their WNY brand of room shakin’ live hip-hop. Adding to the bill is 3-time champion in Buffalo’s “Battle of the Hip-Hop Bands” and one of Buffalo’s hottest and upcoming acts – KLD ~ Kinda Like Dreamin. This is sure to be one of the most energetic and entertaining shows of the year.
